Meditating can increase your energy levels and improve performance, focus and general well-being!
It has lots of benefits, you can use it to increase awareness of yourself and your surroundings. It can help you to reduce stress and develop concentration. You can also use it help develop other beneficial habits and feelings, such as a positive mood and outlook, self-discipline, healthy sleep patterns and even increased pain tolerance.
But it's difficult to be disciplined enough to do it every day when you wake up, or during your lunchtime, or just before you go to sleep at night. When there can be lots of distractions to interrupt your concentration, phones ringing, pets, kids, people knocking at the door etc.
Taking a weekly class is the best way to meditate. To allow someone else to guide you into the deep relaxed state where you can totally let go of all the hussle and bustle of the outside world and just enjoy time for yourself.
There will be a different meditation every week from a Guided Meditation (to a beach or woodland for example) to a Meditation designed to Boost your Confidence and Lower your Anxiety!
You don't have to talk to anyone, just turn up, settle on your mat and enjoy.
